Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino could make Ryan Sessegnon his first signing of the summer following Fulham’s relegation back to the Championship.
A move that has been rumoured for years, could finally happen this transfer window following a frustrating year at Craven Cottage. The 18-year old pushed into Fulham’s first-team when he was just 15-years old, now three years on, he could get that dream move he has been calling for.
After previous deals going down in the past, the England U21International looks likely to be leaving South London after playing over 100 games for the club. Positive news for Pochettino will be that his contract looks to be expiring at the end of the 2019/20 season, where an absolute bargain could be underway for Sessegnon’s move back to the Premier League, and potentially the Champions League.
A host of clubs from across Europe and cemented their interest for the left-back where the likes of RB Leipzig, PSG, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur look like the firsts to battle out for his signature.
United boss, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, could also prove to be a favoured destination as he looks to build a young British side in his complete rebuild at Old Trafford.
However, Fulham could want up to £50m for his threatening needs with Craven Cottage which could be a healthy budget for Scott Parker to take The Whites back into the top flight for next season.
The Cottagers will also be keen to keep hold of many first-team stars within the squad with Tom Cairney, Ryan Babel and Aleksandar Mitrovic all having a decent season over the past 12 months.
